After the Mass on Sunday, 19th September, we will have our Parish Luncheon, with a talk by Nigel McBain on the subject of the Holy Angels. The lunch will be held in the St Paul's School Hall. Come along for fellowship and faith formation.
We will celebrate the Mass of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the Ordinariate Form, this coming Saturday, at 8:00am, 15th August 2020, at St Paul's Catholic Church. Fr Ted will be the Celebrant.
The Assumption is one of the only two holy days of obligation in Australia. If you are not able to attend this Mass, you can attend any other Mass on the Saturday with the intention to fulfil the obligation - just like Christmas. God bless you all. Tuesday Evening Short Course: The Liturgical Year - Texts & Traditions, Starting 21 July 2020.14/7/2020 Come and explore the texts and traditions of the Liturgical Year as we experience it in the Personal Ordinariate. Why do we have different seasons? Why the different colours in the vestments? What's the difference between "normal" days and the various kinds of feast days? How is Easter calculated? Who decides when to celebrate a particular feast? We will explore these and many other questions about what the Church calls "the sanctification of time" in this ten week course, beginning on 21 July 2020, and hosted at the Presbytery in Dianella. Contact Nigel McBain to register your interest.
